Comments: The Magic City series of books are generally designed for beginners, but are somewhat lacking in detail and illustrations. However, they are also very inexpensive (under $5), and some volumes contain some good information. I wouldn't suggest this volume on Linking Rings as your sole source, but it is good as an inexpensive additional source to say, Dai Vernon's excellent Symphony of the Rings.
