by: John Freeman . Originally published as "The Art of Magic and
Sleight of Hand", then "The Practical Encyclopedia of Magic", and
more recently "How to Do Magic Tricks". The books are very good
beginner's guides, with over 1000 glossy, full color photos, and
providing great detail. The second volume (listed separately) is
"200 Easy-to-Learn Magical Illusions, Amazing Puzzles &
Stunning Stunts", using the same detailed color photograph format.
These two books were later combined into "The Ultimate Compendium
of Magic Tricks", also found under the title, "The Illustrated
Compendium of Magic Tricks". There are more recent Einhorn books
produced that are mostly small extracts of the chapters from this
book and the 200 Easy to Learn book.
