During this short time, all of the following happen: the top third of the deck flies from the rest of the deck, makes one revolution, or flip, in midair, and lands facedown in the performers awaiting hand; then, the middle third of the deck follows the same pattern as the first portion; finally, the remainder the deck will do a double revolution, or flip, in mid air during which time a chosen card will come sailing out and land on the table or floor. The rest of the deck will be squared in the performer's hand."
