Comments: "The magician tells a story about a mystic who killed a deadly serpent by driving a wooden stake through it. The magician demonstrates the story as he tells it. Not being able to use a real snake near the audience, the magician uses a harmless lizard...He plunges a wooden stake through the lizard and passes the lizard around to show that it is dead. Then he drops some magic liquid on the lizard, which instantly, and in full view, leaps up, unharmed."
