2. Matthew 17:21. What two things are required to cast out this type of demon?
NIV: verse is missing from the text. Text goes

3. Matthew 18:11. Why did Jesus come to earth?

4. Matthew 27:2. What was Pilate's first name?
NIV: text does not provide a name, simply states, "Pilate, the governor." There is no corresponding footnote.
KJV: Mt 27:2 And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
5. Matthew 27:35. What were the words spoken by the prophet concerning the parting of Christ's garments?
NIV: Nothing in the NIV text indicates any words
by
the prophets.
Footnote states: "A few late manuscripts lots
that the word spoken by the prophet might be fulfilled: 'They
divided
my garments among themselves and cast lots for my clothing'
(Psalm 22:18)"
KJV:

7. Mark 7:16. What does a man need to be able to hear?

two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out."

11. Luke 7:28. What was John? (teacher, prophet, carpenter, etc.) What is his title or last name?

12. Luke 9:55. What did the disciples not know? What did the Son of man not come to do? What did He come to do?

18. John 5:4. What happened in the water of the pool at certain seasons?
